Crafty Success!!!

November 28, 2010 § 3 Comments

It’s the morning after the Crafty Art Market and I’m still buzzed from the excitement (and probably the two iced lattes I walloped during the day). I almost lost my voice talking, talking, talking. I hope I didn’t overtalk!

Those who stopped by my stall were curious, inquisitive and all very appreciative of the process of making with clay. Many yoga lovers also stopped to look and smile at the prints. And though there was only a small selection of pottery this time around, they still sold pretty decently! Many familiar faces from Art For Grabs in November turned up to say hi, and I was surprised and happy to have return customers who are so encouraging and appreciative! (you know who you are, much love! And thank you for showing up and saying hello!)

I managed to take a quick walk through the market, and really am proud of all the Malaysian etsy sellers. Ingenious crafts, great workmanship, and products that are so imaginative and quirky were all around – it was good company to be in.

thanks to sis who helped me out so much that day!

a small but nicely grouped selection of pots!

yoga prints packed and ready to go!

i'm so proud of my brown placard signs čÖé

my neighbour Jenny was selling lots of earrings and necklaces and bag holders

Wow glad that it turned out great for you too! It seems that everyone was having so much fun. Eeek. I really wish traveling to KL is cheaper and less tiring. :/

ME TOO! this market was extra exciting becos all the shops were selling stuff that was handmade by the vendors themselves, and some things that you never see in other markets… if possible, next time when you come to KL, make it a 3-day trip so you got time to recover the next day before making the journey back. i think it’s necessary! even today i’m wiped out weiii…
