So why has inkypots been so quiet and so missing from the forums online lately? Because she has been a machine, a machine, churning out pot after pot. I think I learnt a new discipline in having to make so many pots. And though at first it was HARD and fraught with error, clay that was too soft, attention that went away and never came back, and some emotional cough-ups (such drama, but I’m telling it like it was), eventually I found a mindfulness and meditativeness that saw me through the project. I also learned to pace myself, and limit the production to a careful 6-10 pieces a day, depending on how complex the piece was. They just turned out better that way…

Also, have citrus juicers in the next firing…
